618jl ("we," "us," or "our") operates the 618jl online gaming platform accessible at 618jl.org. We are committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of every player who registers and uses our platform. Note: This Privacy Policy should be read together with the 618jl Terms & Conditions. Defined terms used in this Policy have the same meaning as in the Terms & Conditions unless otherwise stated.

For the purposes of the Data Privacy Act of 2012, 618jl is the personal information controller in respect of the personal data you provide when using the 618jl Platform. As personal information controller, 618jl determines the purposes and means of processing your personal data and is responsible for ensuring that such processing is carried out lawfully, fairly, and transparently.

618jl has appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO) who is responsible for overseeing compliance with this Privacy Policy and applicable data privacy laws. You may contact the DPO using the details provided in Section 14 of this Policy.

Legal Obligation: Processing is required to comply with applicable Philippine laws, including PAGCOR regulations, the Anti-Money Laundering Act, and the Data Privacy Act itself. This includes KYC verification, transaction monitoring, and regulatory reporting.
Legitimate Interests: Processing is necessary for 618jl's legitimate interests in fraud prevention, platform security, responsible gaming monitoring, and improving our services, provided such interests are not overridden by your rights and freedoms.
Consent: For marketing communications and non-essential cookies, we rely on your freely given, specific, and informed consent. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

618jl does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for their own marketing purposes. We may share your personal data with the following categories of recipients, strictly on a need-to-know basis and subject to appropriate data protection safeguards:

We engage trusted third-party service providers to assist in operating the 618jl Platform, including payment processors (GCash, Maya, Philippine banks), identity verification providers, cloud hosting providers, and customer support platform providers. These providers are contractually bound to process your data only on our instructions and in accordance with applicable data privacy law.

Regulatory Authorities

We are required by law to share certain personal and financial data with PAGCOR, the AMLC, the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), and other Philippine government agencies as required by applicable regulations. Such disclosures are made only to the extent required and in the manner prescribed by law.

Law Enforcement

618jl may disclose personal data to law enforcement agencies, courts, or other government authorities where required by a valid legal order, warrant, or subpoena, or where we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to prevent imminent harm or illegal activity.

Business Transfers

Section 09

Data Retention

618jl retains your personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including satisfying legal, regulatory, accounting, and reporting requirements. The following general retention periods apply:

Account and Identity Data: Retained for the duration of your Account and for a minimum of five (5) years following Account closure, in compliance with PAGCOR and AMLC record-keeping requirements.
Financial Transaction Data: Retained for a minimum of five (5) years from the date of the transaction, as required by the Anti-Money Laundering Act.
Gaming Activity Data: Retained for a minimum of three (3) years from the date of the gaming session, for regulatory reporting and dispute resolution purposes.
Communications Data: Retained for two (2) years from the date of the communication, for quality assurance and dispute resolution purposes.
Marketing Preference Data: Retained until you withdraw consent or close your Account, whichever is earlier.

Upon expiry of the applicable retention period, personal data will be securely deleted or anonymized in accordance with our data disposal procedures.

Section 10

Data Security

618jl implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, accidental loss, destruction, alteration, or disclosure. Our security measures include:

Transport Layer Security (TLS) encryption for all data transmitted between your device and the 618jl Platform.
Encryption at rest for sensitive personal and financial data stored on our servers.
Role-based access controls limiting employee access to personal data on a strict need-to-know basis.

Data Breach Response: In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, 618jl will notify the National Privacy Commission within seventy-two (72) hours of becoming aware of the breach, and will notify affected players without undue delay, in accordance with NPC Circular No. 16-03.

Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, you have the following rights with respect to your personal data held by 618jl:

Right to be Informed: The right to be informed of how your personal data is being collected and processed, as described in this Privacy Policy.
Right of Access: The right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, along with information about how it is being processed.
Right to Rectification: The right to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data. You may update most Account information directly through your Account settings.
Right to Erasure: The right to request deletion of your personal data where it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, subject to our legal retention obligations.
Right to Object: The right to object to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes or where processing is based on legitimate interests.
Right to Data Portability: The right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, where technically feasible.

Section 12

Children's Privacy

The 618jl Platform is strictly intended for individuals who are at least twenty-one (21) years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 21. If we become aware that personal data has been collected from a person under 21, we will immediately suspend the associated Account, delete the personal data, and, where applicable, return any deposited funds in accordance with applicable law.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a minor has registered on the 618jl Platform, please contact us immediately at the details provided in Section 14 so that we can take appropriate action.

Section 13

Amendments to This Privacy Policy

618jl reserves the right to update or amend this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changes in our data processing practices, applicable law, or regulatory requirements. Material changes will be communicated to registered players via email or in-platform notification at least seven (7) days before the amended Policy takes effect.

The most current version of this Privacy Policy will always be available on this page, with the effective date updated accordingly. Your continued use of the 618jl Platform after the effective date of any amendment constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
